Cosmetic Skin Solutions ships to all 50 states including US Territories such as Puerto Rico. Restricted International territories include Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, or Syria. Domestic shipping methods include USPS First Class Mail with an estimated delivery time frame of 5-7 business days and USPS Priority Mail with an estimated delivery time frame of 2-4 business days. International shipping methods include USPS Priority with an estimated delivery time of 6-10 business days and USPS Priority Express with an estimated delivery time frame of 3-5 business days. We also offer DHL with an estimated delivery time frame of 2-3 business days. Please allow 1-2 days for processing and shipping of your order. Please note that the time frames are estimated by the Postal Carriers. Delivery can be well beyond the estimated time frame. If this occurs, please contact the Carrier and provide to them the tracking number to find the status of the shipment.

Cosmetic Skin Solutions does ship to valid APO/FPO/AE Military addresses, P.O boxes, and domestic hotels with confirmed mailing addresses. We do not ship to International hotels. If an order is placed having an International hotel mailing address the buyer will be contacted and a residence address will need to be provided. It is imperative we receive a valid address. If you are unsure to the accuracy of your full mailing address or vacation address, please contact your nearest United States Postal Service (USPS) in order to receive the correct address. If shipping to a domestic hotel, please contact us following your order so that we may request information about the duration of your stay to determine if it’s sufficient with the shipping method you selected. We will not be held responsible for lost packages resulting from insufficient, non-deliverable mailing addresses, or if the hotel guest has left outside of the estimated shipping time frame selected for their order.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail with a tracking number so you may track the status of your order. Please contact us if you notice a tracking scan indicating “package missing”, or if the scan has not been updated within 3 days.

Due to the various differences in delivery locations and Postal carrier delivery protocols, please be aware that your order will be shipped exactly to the mailing address you provide. If your address requires access to a postal locker requiring a key, the courier will place a key in your mailbox to access this larger postal locker to retrieve your order. If you receive a notice from the USPS indicating delivery was attempted due to the non-presence of a resident, delivery will be re-attempted on the following date indicated on the notice, or you may pick up the package at the nearest Post Office address also indicated on the notice.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Cosmetic Skin Solutions order, you may return or exchange it in its packaging with the original packing slip within 30 days of purchase. In order to return or exchange an item(s), please contact us. Upon receipt of the returned item(s), please allow 1-3 days to process the refund, less restocking fees if applicable, less shipping costs needed to make the return. If promotions are applied or rewards points redeemed for the returned order, these discounts will be deducted from the reimbursement amount. Items received more than 30 days after the purchase date may not be returned or exchanged unless otherwise noted. Only products purchased directly from Cosmetic Skin Solutions can be returned or exchanged. If an item is purchased from an authorized reseller, items must be returned back to the original place of purchase with exception to special circumstances. Optional Insurance:

To guarantee your shipment against from becoming lost in transit, damaged, or at a complete loss, purchasing insurance for your order guarantees the reimbursement to the full value of the order. The cost of this service is $10.00 US.

Optional Signature Confirmation:

A signature will be required upon delivery of your order. This only applies to Domestic Orders. The cost of this service is $5.00 US.

Cosmetic Skin Solutions accepts various forms of payments. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, Shop Pay, Checkout with Amazon, or internationally accepted credit cards. You will be prompted to enter payment information on the Review and Payment page which is the last step of checkout. Credit card information is safe and secure. Payment information is not stored. To pay using wire transfer T/T, a custom sales order is needed. Once approved, we will provide banking details required to initiate the wire transfer. All online orders placed on the Cosmetic Skin Solutions e-commerce site, including Amazon, or PayPal will not be subject to sales tax. This is subject to change applicable if new laws mandate the collection of sales tax imposed for online retailers in each state.

Will my product be fresh once I order?

To ensure the highest efficacy and effectiveness of our products, it is necessary to use a fresh product. All Cosmetic Skin Solutions products’ are manufactured on a bi-weekly basis and stored in our commercial refrigerators so it is fresh upon delivery.

Is it necessary to keep the product refrigerated to maintain active ingredient stability?

We recommend storing each Cosmetic Skin Solutions product in the refrigerator in exception to Retinol, Cleanser, Moisturizer, and Hydra B5 Masque. By storing product in a cool environment will help prolong the shelf-life and maintain the stability of ingredients. It can be stored at a temperature between 30-40 degrees F. Any temperature below this range may re-crystalize the vitamin C. Please contact us if this occurs.

What is the benefit in having amber colored bottles for the Vitamin C treatments?

The purpose of having amber bottles is to minimize the amount of light penetration to the product. This will help to preserve shelf-life, freshness, and efficacy.

Is the packaging material used recyclable or biodegradable?

Yes. Recycling preserves water, natural resources, and conserves energy. We take pride in helping to preserve these natural elements and resources by using packaging materials which are produced from 100% recycled materials. Unlike traditional peanuts for packaging, we use Biodegradable peanuts which decompose in water leaving no toxic waste, are static-free organic starch, and are FDA compliant. All product bottles are made of glass which are 100% recyclable. We encourage you to partake in having good recycling habits, which will be beneficial in preserving both our natural resources and earth.

Will the product degrade while in transit?

No. Due to the high efficacy levels of each product when freshly manufactured, the synergistic interaction and combination of each ingredient in formulation are less susceptible to degradation to oxidizing elements heat, light, and air. We recommend storing products in a refrigerator at a temperature between 30-40 degrees F in exception to Retinol, Cleanser, Moisturizer, and Hydra B5 Masque. Is there an expected time frame before noticing results?

Our topical antioxidant serums contain high amounts of Vitamin C which documentation of clinical testing can be found on our Scientific Journals page from our Science Menu. Research has shown significant improvements in the tone, texture, brightness and hydration of skin after a few days of use. Lines and facial wrinkles will soften, skin discoloration and pigmentation will be reduced in as little as two months, although individual skin results will vary. Our proprietary topical Vitamin C products are fast absorbing upon contact and serve as a protective barrier to the environmental assaults and free radicals.

What skin types and skin conditions does your products treat?

Yes. Our product line is designed for use on all skin types, including normal, dry, oily, combination including ethnic skin to treat skin conditions aging, dry/dehydrated, discolorations, dark/puffy eyes, enlarge pores, redness-prone, sensitive, wrinkles/lines. I heard controversial info on parabens. Do these treatments contain parabens?

No. Our products are paraben-free.

Are treatments safe to use during pregnancy, or during lactation?

We recommend consulting your physician on the best possible skin treatment for you during pregnancy or when nursing.

Is it necessary to apply products on overcast days?

Yes. It is important and recommended for continued use of our products on overcast days especially topical Vitamin C in order to provide preventative and protective benefits from UV radiation.  Ultraviolet A and Ultraviolet B rays are abundantly present even on days which are overcast.  Ultraviolet rays in the form of natural light are capable of penetrating clouds and reaching the skin.  For ultimate protection against UV radiation an antioxidant, hydrate or hydrate / lighten, moisturizer, and sunscreen will keep your skin shielded. UVA/UVB radiation will be diminished and your risk to developing photo aging will be reduced.

Is it safe to use these products if I have rosacea?

We recommend consulting your physician on the best possible treatment for your skin condition.

What is photo-damage and hyperpigmentation?

Photo-damage is over exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Over exposure to UVA rays from the sun can lead to damage to the skin, which often results in sunburn in the short term. Long term damage can result in lines, onset of wrinkles, sun spots, skin discoloration, and other cosmetic blemishes which may appear much earlier than they normally would. Hyperpigmentation is a form of sun damage caused by an excess production of the pigment melanin. Over exposure to sunlight can increase the production of melanin causing darkened areas of skin.

What are sun spots and how are they formed?

Sun spots are variations of brown, to tan marks on the skins surface which are most common to areas exposed to the sun such as the forearms, back of the hands, chest, neck, and face. They are caused by over exposure to the suns UV rays. It is also a cause of aging, which is why some people call them age spots.

How can over exposure of the sun be potentially damaging to skin?

The sun’s rays in the form of ultraviolet radiation along with environmental pollutants and oxidative stress can accelerate skin aging and break down structural proteins collagen and elastin fibers responsible for skin firmness and elasticity. Over sun exposure can develop sun spots and discoloration to exposed areas of skin such as the neck, chest, forearms, and face.

How can I prevent over exposure from the sun and maintain healthy skin using topical Vitamin C?

Our topical antioxidants provide photo protective benefits which serve as a barrier from sunlight. Vitamin C defends against oxygen free radicals and helps build collagen. Collagen is a key component of most body tissues and is an essential component for the maintenance and structural stability of collagen. Vitamin E defends against a different type of radical, fat-soluble radicals. When Vitamin C is combined with Vitamin E, a defense against both types of radicals are created, which can provide greater skin protective benefits.
